Aimee got her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, Austin campus, in April of 2015. In 2016 she went to Guatemala to work alongside students and clinicians providing therapy services and to serve the dump community in Guatemala City. When the opportunity to co-found Tesoro arose, she could not think of a better way to use her career to serve and empower the people she had grown to love. She moved to Austin in August of 2018 to co-found Tesoro and is currently working both as a lab assistant at the University of St. Augustine and as a home health physical therapist.
