Yes, you will need to arrive in Guatemala city by 1pm on the first Saturday of the trip so that you can catch the bus to Antigua for tourism day

The local currency in Guatemala is a quetzal. Exchanging money in the airport is not recommended. Most stores will take credit cards or American dollars; if American dollars are used, then change is usually given in quetzals. If you wish to have some quetzals, you can withdraw from an ATM in Antigua after arriving
